Elle fait partie de la communaut\u00e9 d\u2019Agglom\u00e9ration du Puy-en-Velay.<\/p><p>Le territoire du village varie en altitude de 609 \u00e0 751 m, et jouxte au nord la ville du <a href=\"https:\/\/fr.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Le_Puy-en-Velay\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Puy-en-Velay<\/a>. Son territoire s\u2019\u00e9tend sur 110 hectares en limite des communes du\u00a0<strong>Puy en Velay\u00a0<\/strong>au sud, <strong>Espaly Saint-Marcel<\/strong>\u00a0\u00e0 l\u2019Ouest,\u00a0<strong>Polignac<\/strong>\u00a0au Nord et\u00a0<strong>Chadrac<\/strong>\u00a0\u00e0 l\u2019Est.<\/p><p>Ce territoire est coup\u00e9 par la vall\u00e9e de <strong>la Borne<\/strong> et la rocade qui relie les routes nationales 88 et 102.<\/p><p>On y trouve le piton volcanique surmont\u00e9 de l&rsquo;<a href=\"https:\/\/fr.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/%C3%89glise_Saint-Michel_d%27Aiguilhe\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u00e9glise Saint-Michel d&rsquo;Aiguilhe<\/a>.<\/p><p>La commune est travers\u00e9e par la\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/fr.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Via_Podiensis\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">via Podiensis<\/a>, le\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/fr.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Chemins_de_Compostelle_en_France\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">chemin pour Saint-Jacques-de-Compostelle<\/a>\u00a0qui part du Puy.<\/p><p>La population se r\u00e9partit en quatre grands secteurs que sont le Bourg, le coteau de Chosson, la vall\u00e9e de la Borne (des jardins de saint Michel \u00e0 Roderie) et le secteur en bordure du boulevard Chantemesse.<\/p><p>La population atteignait un effectif de 1575 habitants au recensement de 2020, et connait une p\u00e9riode de fl\u00e9chissement du fait de la saturation des surfaces d\u2019Aiguilhe est jumel\u00e9e avec celle de l\u2019Eguille-sur-Seudre en \u00a0Charente-Maritime et va f\u00eater en 2025 ses 40 ans de jumelage.<\/p><p>L\u2019Eguille-sur-Seudre, est une invitation au voyage entre \u00ab\u00a0terre et mer\u00a0\u00bb. Ce village de p\u00eacheurs, situ\u00e9 sur l\u2019estuaire de la Seudre, a su garder son authenticit\u00e9.<\/p><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.leguille.fr\/decouvrir.html\" target=\"_blank\"
